Restaurant
The Molenpad is a bar serving food which has had a thorough facelift in 2008. The old interior, choice of music, staff and food has ensured that Molenpad with its laidback atmosphere has celebrated many lustrums, but at some point we needed to close an era. It was inevitable; the interior was worn to threads. We did not want to fall through the floor....
The challenge was to maintain the character with a brand new interior. No fake brown, but new, attractive, and authentic. We believe we succeeded. Besides a new bar, new floors, walls, ceiling, terrace, and furniture, features like the original, numbered Thonet chairs and the old painting of the mill have been maintained. If climate permits you are able to sit on the sunny and comfortable terrace by water of the Prinsengracht and enjoy the view, passing boats and all the good Molenpad has to offer.
Café
Typical Amsterdam Cafe, food is important, slightly messy, 'arty atmosphere', large terrace on the canal, informal staff, clientele from 25 - 50 years of age looking to enjoy a good salad or steak in an informal café atmosphere.

Groups
The Molenpad does not take banquet reservations (no space, no time) but a good alternative would be Café-Restaurant van Puffelen. You will also find information about banqueting on the pages of Restaurant De Struisvogel en Café Wildschut.Terrace
Café Galerie Het Molenpad has the privilege to be able to exploit directly on the canals. Boats constantly pass by, to enjoy a drink on board or on the terrace. Guests often eat on board and Molenpad's staff serves plates and cutlery on board, but obviously would like it back.
Enjoy the evening sun on a chair, a typical Amsterdam beer 'Amsterdammertje', or sit on the side of the embankment with a drink and a snack. As it is almost straight across from the Court of Justice 'young lawyers' often organize a social event here.Opening hours
Daily from noon.
