Zouk has built up a reputation in just a few years time. It started out as a modern local bar in an area of the Old-West, close to the Overtoom, Vondelpark and Leidsesquare, which has rapidly become popular and gave Zouk an urban position. Zouk is well-known in all areas of Amsterdam and concerning the restaurant that is for one important reason: Zouk's food is fantastic, the prices are great and the atmosphere is perfect.
The idea behind Zouk is simple: not pretentious, however meeting all expectations. A modern functional interior without the compulsive "design" and with distinctive features. Add friendly staff, a professional kitchen and a great mix of guests, and you understand why Zouk is so popular.
Café
It is busy at every hour of the day. The café part remains a bar also at night and is not all of a sudden transformed into a restaurant. Café Zouk is a meeting place for the local residing and working community.
